Laboratory testing for
your hemp products
Analyses by chemical experts in the field of the hemp market.
Cannabinoid Analysis
Certificate of Analysis within 1-3 days
Laboratory testing is an essential part of the legal framework that surrounds hemp globally.
Every hemp product must go through a series of tests in order to be approved for the market.
Submit your Product
At each stage of production, a small sample is sufficient to achieve meaningful results.
Chromatography Analysis
Samples taken are analyzed using HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) and the concentrations of various components are then calculated.
Results
Upon receipt of your sample, we will send you the certificate of analysis with the results of your sample by e-mail.
The Analytics
The quality and properties of your hemp product can only be proven by the exact breakdown of the constituent components.
- Cannabinoid Content Determination
- Residual solvent determination
- Heavy Metals
- Pesticide analysis
- Mycotoxicological and microbiological analysis
- Terpene Analysis
Cannabinoid Content Determination
Determination of 18 individual cannabinoids by HPLC-MS:
- THCA
- Δ9-THC
- Δ8-THC
- THCVA
- THCV
- CBDA
- CBD
- CBNA
- CBN
- CBGA
- CBG
- CBCA
- CBC
- CBDVA
- CBDV
- CBL
- HHC
- H4CBD
Residual solvent determination
Gas chromatography is used to determine solvent residues, which often occur during production or isolation processes:
- Methane
- Ethane
- Propane
- Butane
- Hexane
- Octane
- Nonane
- Decane
- Methanol
- Ethanol
- Benzyl alcohol
- Acetone
- Dimethyl ether
- Tetrahydrofuran
- Ethyl acetate
- Methyl Cyclohexane
- P-Cumene
- tert-butylmethylethther
Heavy Metals
Heavy metals can also contaminate products.
In this respect, our heavy metal analysis shows the smallest proportions of arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury, nickel, copper and zinc. The analysis method follows the requirements of the European Parliament which it has set in the framework of Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006 as maximum levels for the aforementioned contaminants in products.
Pesticide analysis
Pesticide analysis ensures that the submitted sample does not contain harmful contaminants. Using the HPLC-MS process, we can detect more than 200 pesticides and their residues and thus follow the specified standards of the European Parliament as defined in EC Regulation No. 396/2005 with regard to the maximum levels of pesticide residues.
Mycotoxicological and microbiological analysis
Fungi and / or bacteria can infect hemp products and thus have detrimental health effects. If these types of organisms are detected, the toxins they produce are examined by gas chromatographic analysis and broken down in the analysis certificate.
Examples of corresponding toxins are both the aflatoxins: B1, B2, G1 and G2 as well as ochratoxin A, deoxynivalenol (vomitoxin) and zearalenones. Here, too, we follow the prescribed standards of the European Parliament, which has set the corresponding standards in Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006.
Terpene Analysis
Hemp unfolds its various flavors and smells, such as citrus, pine, lavender or berry from the terpenes. By means of gas chromatography, we can analyze the corresponding aroma so that clear conclusions can be drawn about the taste and / or smell of the corresponding product. A targeted production of certain flavors and smells is then possible for our partners. For example, the terpenes are detectable:
- Bisabolol
- Borneol
- Caren
- Eucalyptol
- Limonen
- Linalool
- Myrcene
- Terpineol
- Pinen
- Humulen
- Ocimene
- and many more
